How to give a vintage look to your washi paper items.

Centuries ago washi paper was used for almost every items of the daily life, such as umbrellas, clothes and accessories.

To make the paper more resistant we would use konjac paste.

The konjac paste is totally natural, odorless and colorless.

Another specificity of washi paper items was their leather aspect.

For a genuine vintage look we recommend that you crumple the paper and then apply the konjac paste.

NATSUMIKUMI MATERIAL recommends that you repeat the process two to three times depending on the result you want achieve.
